aks is possible.The leak tightness of the gear unit must be checked regularly every 4 weeks. Remove soiling in the area of the inspection and/or assembly cover or the marked oil filling point. Loosen and remove the fastening screws on the inspection and/or assembly cover. Remove the cover with the seal from the housing (do not damage the seal as it will be used again). Unscrew the air filter including the reducing screw. Fill up gear unit oil through the opening up to just below the air filter. The safety notes on the data sheets for the oil used must be observed here.Remove any spilled oil immediately using an oil binding agent. Screw in the fastening bolts of the inspection and/or assembly cover and tighten them to the specified torque (see item 6.. Put in screw plug in replacement of the air filter with reducing screw. 7.3.1.2 Interior preservation with preservative agent Before longer shut-down periods, gear units with force-feed lubrication systems, oil circulation cooling and/or non-contacting shaft seals should be filled with preservative agent and run without load. Place suitable container under the oil draining point of the gear unit housing. Unscrew the oil drain plug and/or open the oil drain cock. Drain the operating oil into suitable container (see section 1. "Maintenance and repair"). WARNING Risk of scalding Serious injury from discharging operating media when these are changed is possible.
