The Tenderer shall have the total responsibility for the design , development and implementation of software for the control & instrumentatio system. The Tenderer shall include in his sc ope of work the following. The application software for imp lementing control algorithms, nterlocks, generation of mimics shall be using graphics editor and graph ic tool kit and shall not use programming langua ge approach. Graphic blocks, engineering blocks etc. shall be used to configure the software. The Tenderer shall provide softwa re locks and passwords to Owne at site for all operating and application software so that Owner can take ackup of software and are able to do modifications at site. The requisite licenses for the system software and application software shall be included. Software Licenses as far as possible shall be taken group basis rather than individual PC based. Alternatively, the software li cense shall be taken as project specific instead of hardware / machine specifi . All licenses shall be valid for the continuous service life of the plant. So urce code for all application software shall be handed over to the Owner. The Ten derer shall include and indicate any other oftware ..
