Wear suitable protective clothing. Note Check the condition of the sealing ring; the sealing ring is vulcanised onto the oil drain plug. If necessary, use new oil drain plug. Close the oil drain cock again and/or screw the oil drain plug back in. Unscrew and remove the air filter from the housing top. Replace the air filter with screw plug. Note Clean the air filter thoroughly (see item 1.2. and keep it in safe place (it will be required when starting up again). 7 / 9BA 5 en 0/2 Remove soiling in the area of the inspection and/or assembly cover or the marked oil filling point. Undo and remove the fastening screws on the inspection and/or assembly cover. Remove cover with seal from housing; the seal will be used again. Fill gear unit with "Castrol Alpha SP 2 " (see table 1 in item 4.4.1. . Establish the filling quantity (1 %) by means of the gear unit dimensions: Length width height 0.1. NOTICE Property damage Corrosion is possible when using the wrong preservative. Use the special "CastrolAlphaSP2S" oil with extra corrosion protection (addition""). Place the inspection and/or assembly cover including the seal on the housing. Screw in the fastening bolts of the inspection and/or assembly cover and tighten them to the specified torque (see item 6.. Note Clean the air filter thoroughly (see item 1.2. and keep it in safe place (it will be required when starting up again). NOTICE Property damage Corrosion is possible when the gear unit is opened for too long.Close the gear unit airtight again at the latest one hour
