Paint formulations without certificates are not cceptable. 2.2 Engineer-in-Charge at his discretion, may call for tests or paint formulations. Contractor shall arrange to have such tests perfo rmed including batchwise test of wet paints for physical & chemical analysis. All costs there shall be borne by the contractor. 2.3 The painting work shall be subject to inspection by Engineer-in-Charge at all times. In particular, following stagewise inspection will performed and contractor shall offer the work for inspection and approval of every stage before proceeding with the next stage. The record of inspection shall ne maintained in the registers. Stages of inspection are as follows: . Surface preparation . Primer application . Each coat of paint In addition to above, record should inculde type of shop primer already applied on equipment . .
