If the outp ut gear pair with higher load capacity is added on two-stage gear reducer, it can be ob tained gear ratio in the row R2 (Figure 2-). The other way is to use the output gear pairs from two-stage solution with inserting gear pair with lower load capacity as the second and using the first gear pair from smaller size of gearbox (Figure 2-). Of course, this is always possible except for the smallest size of gear reducer. Using the first gear pair for smal lest size of three-stag gear reducer is not economical since the gears have higher load capa city than it is required [1, 2, 9, 1]. Fig. 2.
