After satisfactory completion of all visual and non destructiv testing the procedure test weld shall be set aside for period not less than 2 hours. No furt her work on the test weld and no cutting of test specimens from the weld be performed till period of at least 2 hours has expired. Weld specimens, for pipe diameter greater than or equal to 1.3/4" shall be taken from the positions indicated in Fig. 1 of this specification from areas as free from defects as possible. For this reason it is necessary to take the previous non destructive tests into account. The minimum no. of tests to be carried out is given in Table- of his specification. The test shall be carried out at laboratories approved by COMP ANY. The specimens shall be prepared in accordance with the figure given in the paragraphs which refer to the individual test.
