February 1. 2 motion to approve the February 1, 2 City Cou ncil Meeting Minutes as presented was made by Council Member Tate and seconded by Cou ncil Member Wren. Motion carried unanimously. Vote 4-0 with Mayor Santini voting on all items during this City Council meeting. . First Reading of Ordinances 1. Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rider Tamara Brock, Utility Accounts and Development Mana ger came forward and stated this is the first reading of the ordinance for the Elect ric Vehicle Charging Station Rider. This rider will allow the City to charge all electric vehicle operators who charge at City of Cartersville owned electric vehicle charging station. If you re call, our first charging station will be in the Kroger Marketplace Shopping Center and installation is almost complete. On the rider, the Customer will be charged an initial flat rate for he first two hours. Beginning at the start of the third hour, consumption driven charge will apply. If customer stays connected for an extremely long time, such as would indicate an exce ssively overrun time in the charging spot, the rate would escalate to much higher rate until the daily maximum charge has been reached.
